Plucked from the safe cavern
in which I was living
Existing in a world unknown
Surviving in a truth untouched, unnoticed,
and utterly distant.....
Between others and my essence
Then plunged into a deep, cold ocean-
where the startling stillness awakened my senses...
Arousing that imploring to live,
Stirring me to dive deeper....
Arousing the soul to speak
And the mind to simply surrender
Be free... be free... be free....
Do more than just a duty
Do more than just survive
Do more than just make money....
This is what it is to be alive
Awaken all senses-
Bring it back from the invisible world
Where the intangible mingles with the tangible
This is no longer a whisper
No longer a timid fact
It roars from within
And comes out like thunder
This being fueled by the fire
Burning in my belly for all to see
Now is the time
To bring the ancient to modernity
